
Kofta is known in USA as Lula kabob, it is made of ground beef and it is usually grilled on charcoal or gas grill. In Egypt, when kofta is made at home, it is usually get baked in the oven. However, nothing is better than grilling with charcoal. Today, I am sharing with you a super delicious recipe for kofta and without the charcoal hassle. I grilled it on an electric indoor grill and I was fighting with the kids and husband over it. The trick is to be generous with 2 main ingredients: onions and cinnamon. Hope you like it too 🙂
Ingredients
2 lb lean ground beef
2 minced large red onions with squeezed out juices
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp all spices
1 tsp ground oregano
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp parsley
