Egyptian chicken a la grecque sandwich

There are different recipes and ways to make chicken a la grecque. This recipe is meant to make the chicken a la grecque as a sandwich unlike the common way to cook it. However, as a healthier alternative, you can still eat it without the bread and it will be super delicious. This sandwich is not that common in Egypt, but there are few fast food sandwiches place that make it. It is super delicious!

Ingredients
6 boneless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons greek yogurt (very important)
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 minced onion
1 lime juice
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon all spices
1/2 teaspoon ground clove
1/2 tablespoon olive oil for the marination
1 sliced green bell pepper
1 diced tomato
1 tablespoon mayo or as needed on the sandwich
2 tablespoons of olive oil to stir fry the chicken

Wash the boneless chicken breasts. If the slices are too thick, slice them through the middle.
Pat dry the chicken with paper towel.
Sprinkle the chicken very well with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a food processor, mix the onions, yogurt, the spices, lime juice and olive oil together.
Pour that on the chicken.
Add the 2 tablespoons of ketchup on the chicken as well and rub them well. If not available substitute with 1 tablespoon tomato paste.

Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the fridge (the longer the better).
In a hot pan, add the olive oil. When a bit warm (do not get olive oil too hot), add the chicken.

Brown it well on each side.

Add the bell peppers and tomatoes and let it simmer down for  20 minutes or until done. You can add up to 1/4 cup of water. Do not add too much, just a little.
