I have an awesome husband who likes to add mayo on the top of anything but desserts. With a change in his eating habits, I am trying to find healthier and fun alternatives for him. I think this sauce or dip or whatever it is called is a nice alternative to mayo when it comes to many cold cut sandwiches and seafood. I need to figure something out for meat though, that would be hopefully soon!
Ingredients
3 tablespoons cilantro
1 peeled and seeded avocado
1 tablespoon non fat cream cheese
1 lime juice
4 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon vinegar
1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon paprika
chili flakes (optional for spicy sauce)
Salt and pepper to taste
In a food processor, mix all the above. Taste for salt and pepper adjustment. Enjoy!
