I like to cook chicken a lot more than meat! I think it is healthier and budget friendly. Lately, I was a bit bore with all the recipes and I feel like I want to eat more of sandwiches. So, I decided to make chicken patties instead of beef ones, it was really delicious. There are so many recipes online for that, so I mixed and matched and added my touch. Hope you like this recipe too! Perfect for older kids and teens, and us too 🙂
Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts
1 minced onion
1 tbsp mayo or sour cream
1/4 cup your favorite cheese e.g Parmesan or shredded or both
1 tsp paprika
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp all spices
1/4 tsp cumin
1 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs
Wash and pat dry the chicken.
Cut the chicken into 3 or 4 pieces any form.
Using your food processor, mince the chicken to be grind chicken.
Mix all the ingredients above except for the olive oil & the breadcrumbs.
Pour the mix over the chicken and mix all well.
Now, add the breadcrumbs and mix again.
Form the patties and cover with foil.
Set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Bring a large pan to be hot on medium heat.
Add the olive oil.
Optional: I add 1/2 tsp Rosemary in the oil for a delicious scent.
Cook until golden browned then flip to the other side.
Prepare the bread for awesome sandwiches: mayo, pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese slice and the patties.
Lovely recipe … Will definitely give this a try!!
