This appetizer or snack is super easy and fast to make. It is always an awesome side dish and make any meal looks fancier. It should not take more than few minutes to have this dish on the table.
Few egg rolls square sheets (if not found, Fillo dough can be used)
4 tablespoons feta cheese
1 tablespoon mint
1/3 cup of water in a small bowl
Oil for frying
Mix the feta and the mint together.
Cut the egg roll sheet into half to work with a rectangular shape. (if using fillo dough, cut vertically and use one long rectangle at a time)
Place the feta and the mint on the right corner of the dough.
Start folding over to make the triangular shapes.
Keep folding until there is no more dough to fold.
Wet your fingers with a bit of water and seal the edges.
Cover with plastic wrap for now.
In a deep pan on medium heat, add oil for deep frying.
When oil is hot, bring heat to low.
Add the cheese triangles to the oil.
They get golden brown so fast. In few seconds they will be ready, so be careful and keep watching them while flipping.
